When you tick the consent box, you agree that:
- You authorise Trivora Car Rental to collect and process your personal data (name, phone number, email, pick-up and return address, destination state, and photos of your IC or passport and driving licence) for the purposes stated in the Privacy Policy.
- The information and documents you provide are yours, true and accurate, and you are entitled to provide them.
- You understand that your IC or passport and licence photos are needed to verify your identity and driving eligibility, are stored privately, and can only be viewed by authorised staff.
- You understand that if a refund is owed, we may ask you for your bank details through a one-time link. They are used only to transfer that refund, and are deleted after the refund is completed (we keep only the bank name and last 4 digits as a record).
- You agree that the IC or passport number you enter is used to verify your identity, is locked on your rental and handover records, and is used to check whether you are eligible for first-booking promotions.
- You agree that your document photos are checked automatically by an artificial intelligence (AI) service, which reads your name, IC or passport number and licence expiry date to confirm that your documents match. Our staff still confirm your original documents in person.
- You allow disclosure of your data to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy (payment, database and storage, website hosting, Google, and our AI service provider), including processing outside Malaysia such as Singapore and, for the AI service, the People's Republic of China.
- You agree to be contacted by WhatsApp, phone or email about your booking.
- Your data will not be used for marketing unless you give separate consent.
We record the date and time of your consent, and the version of this consent, together with your booking.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us on WhatsApp 013-466 6430. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot proceed with or continue your rental. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out before it.
